GRAB LORRY FOR HIRE FOR WASTE AWAY AND AGGREGATE DELIVERIES

Using one of our 8 wheeled, 32 tonne grab lorries, we offer a fully operated service, with professionally trained, experienced and friendly staff. Gallagher’s grab lorries take much of the hard work out of waste removal, meaning that rather than having to load up a skip bin, its hydraulically operated loading crane can do it for you, scooping it up and depositing it into the lorry.

An eight-wheel grab lorry can usually take the equivalent to around three 6 yard skip loads (16 tonnes or 12 to 15 cubic metres of waste). Prices start from around £130 for an eight-wheel grab lorry (plus VAT), so they are a much more cost-effective way of disposing of larger loads than a skip.  Grab lorries are available for single load or all day hire.

Our grab lorries can reach 7 metres from the side of the roadway and can carry up to 16 tonnes.  This gives the vehicles a large capacity for waste removal from sites. All that we require is that the material to be grabbed is available within 7 meters of the side of the vehicle. This lorry cannot load from over the front (the cab) or over the back of the vehicle.

Gallagher Grab Hire is the easiest and the most efficient way to ensure that any waste removed from your site is disposed of legally, efficiently and correctly at a fully licensed tipping facility, leaving you with a clear working environment and site.  Waste is taken to our Hermitage Quarry in Maidstone, which is a permitted Environment Agency licence recycling and tipping facility.

Our grab lorries can deliver a variety of aggregates including Type 1 MOT and Recycled Type 1, sand, ballast, shingle, crushed concrete and decorative Kentish Ragstone. (*subject to approval).
